Boatshed Number One is a family-run boat hire business located at 1 Little Street, Forster — directly on the edge of beautiful Wallis Lake. Boatshed Number One and Forster Houseboat Hire are separate customer-facing businesses operating from the same waterfront location.
Our focus at Boatshed Number One is on day experiences — BBQ pontoon hire, runabouts, kayaks, paddleboards and guided lake cruises. We want visitors to Forster to have the best possible day on the water, whether that's a big family BBQ cruise, a romantic kayak paddle or an exhilarating private RIB tour. You do not need to be an expert — we will get you confident and sorted before you head out.
Wallis Lake is genuinely one of NSW's great natural assets — crystal-clear water, abundant wildlife (including our resident dolphin population), great fishing and an atmosphere that makes you slow down and appreciate the place. We are proud to share it, and we take safety seriously so everyone can relax and enjoy the day.
